Detailed job costing

Labour costs charged by the minute and based on actual durations recorded in the field are added to material costs recorded against the job to give total actual costs. These are then compared to the order values to highlight jobs where the margin is out of the expected range. Supervisors can review and manually adjust job costs, with the system retaining the audit trail of the original values and the adjustments.

Order and visit profitability

Visit activity is rolled up to the order level, so total actual visit costs across all visits can easily be compared to the original order values. Mobizimo has been designed to reflect how work gets done in the real world and not force users into the artificial constraints of fixed order lines and codes; this more natural way of working makes it easier to capture accurate information, because everything is captured at source in the simplest way so the system works for you, not against you.

Real-time job progress monitoring

Mobizimo is designed with mobile working at its heart. Everything that happens in the field is captured effortlessly via the mobile app and is then instantly visible on the Service Desk, accessible to anyone with a browser, an Internet connection and system access.

Caution alerts for mobile workers

Alerts can be delivered to mobile workers based on data received with the job; data held centrally relating to the customer or can be triggered by visit workflow based on the type of work being undertaken or the visit outcome. The flexible design means any alert you need to incorporate can be catered for using standard configuration, with the choice of simple text warnings or workflow where the user is required to contact the office for a release PIN before being able to continue.

Pre- and post-work checklists

Any paper based forms that your staff currently complete in the field can be migrate to the mobile app easily and quickly. Incorporate questions, photos, signatures and anything else needed, then define when the forms should appear or just let your staff access them manually. Anything from daily vehicle checks to complex Gas or Asbestos compliance inspections can be handled.

GPS location alerts

GPS tracking without the hassle – Mobizimo can record the GPS location of all mobile updates and compare the reported location with the expected location of the job. This then trigger clear visual alerts if there is a location mismatch, as well as recording the location against each visit to give evidence for no-access visits or arrival / departure times.

Multi-contract

Customers and orders are held against contracts and you can hold separate job code lists for each contract you work on. The mobile app can enforce job code compliance to whatever level you require recognising that although all work is linked to a contract, the level of data integration you have achieved with different clients is likely to vary and you may need flexibility within the mobile app.

Record parts used

Upload your material catalogue and hold it on the mobile device. Operatives can then record actual usage against each job and you can download summary usage details as required for replenishment.

Record work completed

Upload multiple sets of job codes and configure the system so that each device is updated with just the codes relevant to that user. Send updates automatically over the air, or disable this feature so that you can work with very large code lists without disrupting the mobile users. Original order codes are compared to actual codes recorded on the mobile app, or you can choose to manually code work via the web site.

Capture signatures

Signature capture is built into the standard visit workflow, but you can customise this and capture as many signatures as you need at any point in the visit.

Capture photos

Mobile users can capture photos against any visit and these are instantly visible on the Service Desk, photos can also be incorporated into more complex forms and returned to your network as part of custom PDF reports or as individual image files.
